OLYMPIA, WASH. – People who have or sell child pornography will soon face longer prison terms.
So will people who engage in child sex trafficking.
A bill that unanimously passed the state Senate last month, just unanimously passed the House.
“We need to protect these children, and this bill helps to do that. Some people just need to go away for a long time, in protection of our children,” Republican State Representative Brad Klippert says.
The bill now goes to Governor Jay Inslee for his signature.
