FERNDALE, Wash. — More renewable energy jobs may be coming to Whatcom County.
Biomass Magazine reports Phillips 66 has announced planning is underway for a large-scale renewable diesel plant in partnership with a company called Renewable Energy Group.
The proposed facility would be constructed adjacent to the Phillips 66 Ferndale Refinery.
REG operates 13 biodiesel refineries nationwide, including one in Gray’s Harbor.
