BIRCH BAY, Wash. — Ground will broken Friday on the new Birch Bay Berm project.
The event will actually be a “sand pouring” at the Birch Bay Beach Park , 7930 Birch Bay Drive, starting at 11.
The Northern Light reports County Executive Jack Louws and various other County staff and politicians will do the honors.
Construction on the long-awaited improvements to reduce damage from tidal surges and flooding is set to start in October.
