WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — There are a couple of areas where traffic may be slowed this week.
Construction crews will close a single lane of Birch Bay Drive while they work from 4pm to 2am through Friday.
The county asks drivers to avoid the area if possible.
There’s an issue with a cross culvert on Kline Road about halfway between Guide Meridian and Hannegan Road causing a dip in the roadway.
Watch out for signs alerting you to drive slowly over the area.
County crews will start on repairs soon.
