ROCKPORT, Wash. – A hiker from Whatcom County was killed in an accident on a Skagit mountain Tuesday.
Karen Vaden died after falling off a trail on Sauk Mountain.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports the Birch Bay woman was hiking with friends when she fell.
The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office says she fell 70 feet.
