BLAINE, Wash. — Blaine will be featured on the Discovery channel this upcoming weekend.
The Northern Light reports the channel will air a feature documentary called “Attack of the Murder Hornets” on Saturday, February 20.
It follows Blaine beekeepers Ruthie Danielsen and Ted McFall as well as some Washington State Department of Agriculture entomologists as they search for Asian giant hornet nests after the invasive species destroyed a colony of honeybees in Blaine.
McFall described to KGMI what he found in the fall of 2019.
The documentary will premiere on television and online on the Discovery Plus streaming service.
