OLYLMPIA, Wash. – Some Blaine residents weren’t very happy after Governor Inslee signed the state transportation bill into law.
Inslee vetoed certain sections of the bill.
One was the I-5 Exit 274 interchange project.
It would have added a new I-5 off-ramp and made other improvements to make getting into Blaine a bit easier.
The Governor says there wasn’t enough information about the scope and cost of the project.
