BLAINE, Wash. – Police arrested a Blaine man accused of raping a woman at a party last month.
The Bellingham Herald reported the woman gave 52-year-old Ruban Barrios Ibarra a ride to a home to hang out on October 27th.
She told police Ibarra gave her a number of alcoholic drinks, and she later awoke to find him raping her in a bedroom.
She said she did not give her consent and told family members and police that she had been raped.
Ibarra was arrested Monday.
