BLAINE, Wash. – A Blaine man is charged with possessing child pornography.
Homeland Security Investigations in Blaine launched an investigation in October 2019 after receiving a tip from Apple that one of its customers had uploaded suspected child pornography.
The customer was identified as Jon Thomas Lakey.
Investigators served a warrant in January 2020 and seized computers, electronics and supporting media.
The equipment was found to hold several hundred images of children between 4 and 8 years old being exploited.
Officers arrested Lakey on Wednesday, November 3rd.
