BLAINE, Wash. — While on routine patrol Wednesday afternoon, a Blaine police officer ran the license plate of a motorcycle stopped at the intersection of Peace Portal Drive and Bell Road.
The motorcycle was reported stolen in Marysville and a traffic stop was conducted.
The rider, 41-year-old Jerod Kindred Sestrom, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
Sestrom was booked into Whatcom County Jail then released on $1,000 bond the following day.
