BLAINE, Wash. — Two teens allegedly broke into a Blaine nonprofit and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

A report from the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office details their investigation of burglary and malicious mischief on January 29 at Lions Camp Horizon in Blaine.

Lions Camp HorizonĀ is a residential summer camp for individuals with disabilities ages 14 and older.

Officers responding to an activated fire alarm discovered multiple dorms had been broken into and several fire extinguishers had been discharged causing an estimated $15,000 in damage.

A significant amount of damage was also done to the caretaker’s truck parked at the camp.

The two suspects were located thanks to video footage and booked into Juvenile Detention.
