SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) – Four boats burned in a fire ripped through a boat house on Salmon Bay in Ballard.
The fire broke out just before eight Sunday night.
Smoke from the fire was visible throughout much of Seattle.
Eric Pomeroy heard a “boom” and at first didn’t think anything of it, but then he heard the commotion and realized it was serious.
Two 50-foot vessels and two other smaller boats burned.
No one was hurt.
The cause is under investigation.
