BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The body of a Bellingham woman who died in the North Cascades won’t be recovered this week.
The North Cascades National Park says a mission to recover Susan Bennett’s body won’t happen until next week.
The Bellingham Herald reports three recovery attempts this week were scrubbed.
The 61-year-old fell on Saturday on her way down from Forbidden Peak.
There’s no information at this point on any possible services for Bennett.
