EVERETT, Wash. — Everett may gain the Boeing’s commercial airplane headquarters.
The Everett Herald reports the company is considering many scenarios as it goes into survival mode during the pandemic-driven air industry crisis.
Among them is a move of its commercial airplane headquarters from Renton to either its Everett campus or Boeing Field in Seattle.
Boeing executive Bill McSherry told a meeting of economic leaders in Snohomish County that they’re planning on a prolonged slump in airplane sales because of the big global drop-off in air travel.
