FERNDALE, Wash. — The Ferndale School District got an upgrade to its credit rating.
The District announced Wednesday they sold nearly $40 million of bonds to finance the first portion of the $112 million of bond projects to modernize Ferndale schools.
Moody’s Investors Service performed a credit review for the bond sale and, as a result, upgraded the Ferndale School District’s credit rating.
They now join the Bellingham School District as one of the two highest-rated school districts in Whatcom County.
