BELLINGHAM, Wash. — If you’ve still got your Christmas tree, you can easily dispose of it as the local Boy Scouts make the rounds for their annual Christmas tree recycling project on Saturday.
The Boy Scouts of Whatcom County will go through Bellingham, Ferndale, Blaine and Lynden picking up trees.
Make sure your tree is out on the curb by 8 AM and stripped of ornaments and tinsel.
County residents north of Bellingham or in Birch Bay who call before 9 AM can have their trees picked up, and a drop-off location will be open from 8 AM-noon at 2275 Lake Whatcom Boulevard in Sudden Valley.
Donations to the scouts are welcome.
To request a pick-up call 360-255-9194.
