DES MOINES, Wash. – A young boy with Autism has trouble making friends, so his mother talked to KOMO and asked people to flood him with Christmas cards.

And the world delivered. 11-year-old Apollo Williams has received thousands of cards from across Asia, Europe and Canada.

His mother, Barbara Miller, calls it a “Christmas miracle,” though she doesn’t know where she’s going to put the massive piles of cards yet.

Apollo thanked everyone who sent him Christmas cards, and wished them a happy New Year.
