BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Two boys are in trouble after Bellingham Police say one brought a stun gun to school and discharged it in a classroom.
Lieutenant Danette Beckley says police responded to Shuksan Middle School Tuesday morning at about 11:45 when one boy set off the stun gun and another tried to hide it in his backpack.
They were released to their parents and referred to juvenile court.
A stun gun is a handheld device that discharges an electrical shock when held against someone, it does not shoot prongs into a person from a distance, like a Taser.
