BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man with an outstanding warrant for a 2018 sex crime is in jail after an arrest for drug possession.
Bellingham Police Lt. Claudia Murphy told KGMI in an email that 36-year-old Ronald Keith Kiely was arrested early Sunday morning after police found him in possession of the narcotic suboxone without a prescription.
Kiely already had an outstanding warrant for his arrest after a May, 2018 incident in which he allegedly sexually abused a child he was related to.
Kiely was 22 years older than the victim who was under the age of 10 at the time.
He has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and child molestation, 1st degree.
