BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police are investigating after a person was found dead in a car Saturday evening, January 15th.
Lt. Claudia Murphy says officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Cornwall Avenue at about 6:30 p.m.
They saw a person laying down inside the car and opened a door to provide aid.
The person was unresponsive and paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene.
The Whatcom County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy this week.
Police aren’t releasing any other information while the investigation continues.
