BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police are looking for the person who was driving a stolen pickup truck when it collided with a police cruiser last Thursday night, March 3rd.
The department said in an online post the driver was fleeing from Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies who had attempted a traffic stop on Bakerview Road at about 11 p.m.
The driver ran a red light at Meridian, barely missing two pedestrians and slamming into the rear fender of the patrol SUV.
The driver got out and ran and a K-9 was unable to locate them.
