BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police are recommending calm as outrage over mistreatment of cats again circulates on social media.
Lieutenant Claudia Murphy says they have not received any new complaints after investigating three cases in August and September.
One of those cats was thrown into a dumpster but is safe and back home.
She says a detective has been assigned to those cases but suspects haven’t been identified.
