BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police responded to recent domestic violence incidents in which women were choked or strangled by their partners.
Officers arrested Andrew Wesley Potridge after he grabbed his partner by the neck during and argument early Saturday and squeezed until she couldn’t breathe.
She reported he had also assaulted her earlier in the week.
They also responded to reports of a fight on Friday in which Mario A. Felix allegedly grabbed his partner by the throat.
The Bellingham Police Department reminds the public that there are resources for people who find themselves in a domestic violence situation.
