KENDALL, Wash. – Kendall Elementary School was locked down and students were forced to shelter-in-place because of police activity near the School.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s office says the State Patrol had a pursuit that ended on Wheeler Road near the school.
The driver ran away and and is still on the loose.
Deputies contacted the school to assure them all was OK.
Kendall Students will be released at their normal dismissal time of 3:30 and buses will run on schedule.
