FERNDALE, Wash. – A Ferndale man was shot and killed at a business on Portal Way Thursday.
The city says in a news release that officers responded at 12:04 p.m. to reports of the shooting at the business in the 6200 block of Portal Way.
They found 58-year-old Douglas Scoggins dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers determines the suspect is 49-year-old Todd D. Andersen.
He’s at large and being sought for 1st degree murder.
Andersen is believed to be driving a rented 2020 Silver Dodge Challenger with Oregon plates 553MJM.
He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information about his location is asked to call 911.
Ferndale Police are leading the investigation and will release more information when it’s appropriate.
