BREMERTON, Wash. — An exciting resolution and recovery after thieves stole pricey playing cards from a Bremerton gaming store.
Two people worked together to steal nearly $16,000 worth of Magic: The Gathering cards from Discordia Games at the end of August.
KIRO reports the store manager called police and warned nearby game shops that these thieves may try to sell the cards at one of their stores.
Game Wizard and Blue Sky Hobbies set up a sting when someone called up about selling some Magic cards and police caught the suspects.
Other gaming stores in Washington have seen costly thefts of Magic cards including one earlier this year in Bothell worth almost $100,000.
