BELLINGHAM, Wash. — As construction ramps up in Whatcom County, Bellingham Technical College announces plans for a new construction certificate.
In partnership with the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County, BTC will offer this new course option to keep up with the industry’s need for skilled workers.
Courses for the Construction Core Curriculum short certificate will begin on July 9 and run through August 24.
Students will gain basic skills in residential and commercial construction to prepare them for entry-level construction jobs.
Students who complete the certificate are eligible to enroll in BTC’s Advanced Construction Technology certificate, which provides in-depth industry training.
