BURIEN, Wash. (AP) – Burien voters may decide this fall whether to repeal a “sanctuary city” ordinance aimed at protecting immigrants.
People opposed to the ordinance gathered enough signatures to get the repeal effort on the ballot if the city council doesn’t act.
The Council can pass the initiative or send it to voters in November.
