SEATTLE, Wash. — A Burlington man was among 14 persons arrested in a major wiretap operation drug bust .
The US Attorney’s office in Seattle says the members of the ring were frequently armed, with one even pulled over after waving a firearm at another vehicle on I-5 North near Bellingham.
Tuesday, Lionel Gonzalez-Torres, 24 of Burlington was arrested and charged for violations relating to the distribution fentanyl, meth and heroin in Seattle and North Puget Sound communities.
The Skagit County Interlocal Drug Task Force and the Skagit Sherriff’s Department were credited for playing a role in the investigation.
