The burn ban for the Columbia Valley area near Kendall has been cancelled.
Cold, stagnant air was keeping smoke from wood burning from clearing out of the area but weather conditions have changed.
The Northwest Clean Air Agency says it’s now ok to burn wood, but still illegal to emit excess smoke from chimneys and to burn trash.
