ACME, Wash. — During Tuesday’s record setting warmth, seven brush fires burned across Western Washington.
KOMO was on the scene in Acme where a brush fire burned 15 acres.
Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz says conditions in Western Washington have changed rapidly with this dry March weather.
“We need to recognize in March and early April that brush fires can get out of control,” she says.
You’re advised to use extreme caution when burning anything outdoors.
