BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Burnout Road fire is 100-percent contained.
Fire spokesman Michael Krueger said crews are now working to douse the remaining hot embers and coals.
At one point the fire had spread sporadically across about 60 acres on Chuckanut Mountain.
Krueger said no one was hurt and no buildings were damaged.
The cause is still under investigation.
