BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A long-time Bellingham store that’s promised “Home Improvement with a Twist” is closing.
Buyer’s Market owner Andy Brauner says he and his wife Laura are ready to retire after 18 years of 60-80 hour weeks in the store on the corner of Iowa and Woburn.
He says they’ve heard from a lot of loyal customers who are disappointed.
“Many people when they saw the sign came in with their heads hanging down saying, ‘no, you cant!'” he says.
The Brauners still hope to sell the store to a new owner but will close it if they can’t find a buyer.
Meanwhile, the sign out front says they’re having a clearance sale and everything must go.
