BLAINE, Wash – The Canadian holiday weekend is expected to increase wait times at Whatcom County border crossings this weekend.
Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus Day in the U.S.
Border agencies on both sides of the border are advising travelers in news releases to expect delays.
Whatcom County travelers are encouraged to consider the Lynden and Sumas crossings.
