BELLINGHAM, Wash. — An 87-year-old Canadian woman was taken to the hospital after crashing into a ditch on the Lummi Reservation.
The State Patrol says Alvina Splockton of Tsawwassen, BC was driving on Haxton Way near Kwina Road at about 9:30 Monday night when she suffered an unknown medical incident and went off the road.
She was taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
Troopers don’t know if drugs or alcohol were involved.
