SEATTLE, Wash. — A former Washington State Dairy Ambassador and her father are dead after a car accident Sunday night in Mannford, Oklahoma.
KTUL reports Michael Teachman of Seattle and his 19-year-old daughter Anna were in a head-on collision with a pickup truck pulling a trailer.
Michael was pronounced dead at the scene, and Anna was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A family friend posted on Anna’s Facebook page that she suffered a traumatic brain injury and will not survive.
Anna was a Washington Dairy Ambassador last year, and on her way to registration and orientation at Oklahoma State University with her father when the pickup crossed the center line and hit them.
Crews are investigating what caused the accident.
