BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A car is split in two in a Bellingham crash.
Police say it looks like the Acura slammed into a tree in the 1800 block of 24th Street in the Happy Valley Neighborhood.
When officers got there at about 5 a.m. they found two-thirds of an Acura and the driver.
The front of the car was gone.
Troopers say Forrest McMurrin, 23, was taken to Saint Joseph Hospital.
He’s now under investigation by the State Patrol for possible DUI charges.
A passenger in the car walked away before police could talk to him.
