You can now travel to Canada if you’re fully vaccinated but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending against it.
The agency has issued a travel advisory for travelers into Canada due to what it calls a Level 3, or high, number of COVID-19 cases there.
That’s an increase from the Level 2 the CDC had posted since Canada allowed vaccinated visitors from the U.S. on August 9th.
Travelers should follow all health recommendations or requirements while in Canada including mask wearing and social distancing.
CBC News reports an increase in cases and hospitalizations in British Columbia over the past few weeks.
