FERNDALE, Wash. – The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce met Wednesday afternoon, January 5th, to discuss the Ferndale School District’s Operational Replacement Levy.
The council voted to support the school district’s Replacement Levy, which will be on the February 8th ballot.
The board says the past two years have been challenging for the community and that we should support the students on their way to success.
There are 99% of Washington State students who are supported by local levies.
The failure of an Operational Replacement Levy would put Ferndale in the bottom percent.
Board President RB McKeon says we should continue to fund our schools so Ferndale is a great place to live, work, and do business for many generations.
