BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom County residents who’ve been vaccinated within the last two weeks can now sign up for a chance to win a new truck
Registration is now open at winatruckwhatcom.com.
The Chuckanut Health Foundation, Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and Whatcom County Health Department are sponsoring the contest to encourage vaccination against COVID-19.
Dr. Ying Wu with Chuckanut Health says they’re hoping to inspire those who’ve been on the fence or haven’t taken the time to get the shot.
Whatcom residents who get their first shot between June 1st and July 31st are eligible for the drawing.
The grand prize is $60,000 toward a new vehicle of the winners choice.
