BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man is in jail after a woman said he stalked and threatened her on a trail in the Raptor Ridge area off Chuckanut Drive.
Court documents show the woman told deputies she was jogging with her dogs Friday afternoon when a man passed her several times and she felt like he was trying to intimidate or scare her.
She pulled out pepper spray and warned him she would use it.
The woman sprayed him in the face when she says he lunged and grabbed at her.
She ran off and called 911.
Responding deputies found the suspect on the trail and arrested him after the woman identified him.
Christopher D. Tucker is held on suspicion of stalking, fourth degree assault and resisting arrest.
