REDMOND, Wash. — A Cirque du Soleil performance at Marymoor Park in Redmond ended abruptly when a hydraulic system hose broke and sprayed the audience with oil.
The theatrical company says the oil is vegetable-based and no one was hurt when the equipment malfunctioned Friday evening.
The Seattle Times reports Cirque du Soleil will reimburse audience members.
