BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham City Council is accepting applications for its at-large position after Councilmember Roxanne Murphy resigned.
The City says the vacancy will be filled for the remainder of this term, which ends in November of 2019.
City law requires the applicant to be a registered voter and resident of Bellingham for one year prior to being appointed to the council.
Applicants can present their qualifications in person at a special meeting on October 1, which will be televised on BTV and live streamed on the City’s website.
