BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A water main broke early Thursday morning on Bellingham’s waterfront.
The City of Bellingham reported on their Facebook page City crews began working to repair the break at about 4 AM.
They say the industrial water main serves Puget Sound Energy’s Encogen plant and Port of Bellingham properties along Cornwall Avenue.
Roads in the immediate vicinity are closed with detours in place until the main is repaired and water service is restored.
They expect the water main to be back up and running Friday morning.
