BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The City is hoping to bring people back to Bellingham and attract new visitors during the slower months of October through May.
The city is asking for ideas for a new music-related “signature event” that would bring “tourism, commerce and fun.”
They’re hoping to hear from applicants with experience, industry contacts and vision to make it a regional, and even national, attraction.
City requests for event suggestions have led to the successful SeaFeast and Northwest Tune-Up, a biking and outdoor music festival that will debut this summer.
Submissions are due by March 25th, 2022, with the goal of presenting the event in 2023.
To submit a proposal, visit the City of Bellingham website.
