BLAINE, Wash. — The Blaine City Council has announced a vacancy following the resignation of Alicia Rule.
The Northern Light reports she resigned last Friday with an email to Blaine mayor Bonnie Onyon and the council.
Rule was elected to be 42nd District State representative in the November election.
The open position is an at-large seat, meaning anyone residing in Blaine can serve.
Applications are available on the City of Blaine web site.
