BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham is ready to launch the next phase of Waypoint Park on the redeveloped waterfront.

This new development will extend about 750 feet south of the current park, which includes the repurposed Acid Ball from the former GP plant.

The additional park space will occupy the space between the Whatcom Waterway and the planned Granary Avenue condominium project.

It will include an extension of the waterfront trail.
