BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The City of Bellingham is asking for public input as it plans how to spend funds earmarked for affordable housing.
The Consolidated Plan will direct how the city spends $1.5 million in federal funds and $7.5 million in local funding over the next five years.
The money must be spent on housing and services for low income, elderly and disabled residents.
The city’s Consolidated Plan webpage has options for providing feedback and a quick survey that residents can take.
