BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The wife of a man who was intubated by Bellingham Fire Department employees for practice will get a settlement from the City.

The City Council voted Monday to pay Jai Gin, the man’s wife of 34 years, $175,000.

Eleven BFD employees performed so-called “tube checks” on Bradley Ginn, Sr. after he died on July 31, 2018.
