BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Ideal Option, a treatment clinic for opioid addicts, just opened at offices by the Sehome-area Park & Ride.
The Kennewick-based medical providers announced Thursday their newest location is at 3800 Byron Avenue off Lincoln Street.
Treatment strategies include comprehensive physical and mental assessments, prescriptions of Buprenorphine and other addiction medicines, and specialized behavioral health counseling.
In addition to private insurance, they accept payments from Medicaid and Medicare.
Data from the Whatcom County Health Department shows admission rates into treatment programs for opiate abuse have significantly grown in the past five years, but the demand is still far from met.
